We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Sheffield on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be key in growing r2c’s commercial presence by bringing in new business partners and revenue for, by successfully prospecting, selling and on-boarding new clients.
As a key, new business ‘mid corporate’ Field Sales role, the priority objective is to deliver new customer signings, at the required levels of volume and revenue. Annual Sales Targets require a consistent high quality of sales pipeline management – which is pre-requisite for success, which in turn will drive high levels of open-ended commission earnings.
What you’ll be doing:
This role will be hybrid/field based from our Sheffield Office.
This is a fast paced industry where you will be speaking to businesses to learn more about their needs, and ultimately, determining how r2c can help do them more effectively and cost-effectively. Your prospecting will pave the way for new business opportunities and will enable you to build and grow your sales skillsets, while positioning yourself as a thought leader within the organisation.
What we are looking for:
- Proven Sales and analytical skills for successful business generation.
- Previous outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience would be desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and focused, combined with effective organisational and time management skills.
- Professional demeanour to prospective and current clients coupled with strong listening skills.
- The ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal.
