r2c Online to debut key product and technical updates for its online fleet management platform at the CV Show 2021

A leading provider of connected software platforms for the fleet industry, r2c will unveil advances across its product portfolio, giving show visitors a unique chance to see what will be launched in the next year.

The main news from the company will be the preview of two upcoming products – Tech Assist and Incident Management.

Tech Assist

The development of Tech Assist comes at a time when workshops are seeing a shortage of skilled technicians and tightened supply of parts – potentially increasing vehicle downtime for hard-pressed fleets.

Tech Assist is designed to help workshop facilities thanks to its easy-to-use touchscreen compatible technology which will allow technicians to plan their day with integrated route planning. The system will also aim to reduce the time spent on the administration within the workshop while allowing accurate activity metrics of productivity and efficiency to be generated and recorded.

Incident Management

The new Incident Management system aims to give asset management and event management organisations increased real-time visibility of incidents as they occur and throughout their event cycle, allowing them to react more quickly and focus resources as required. Designed to manage any incident as a single event, and allowing you to link multiple jobs and suppliers to one incident, it will also include a mapping system with event location, Linking Drivers to event managers and the mobile Workforce.

Driver 2.0

Also being announced is an update for the Driver v2 app for fleets who strive for safety and compliance. This new app will host a live interactive dashboard of vehicle status and key dates (i.e servicing, recalls, etc), instant defect rectification, the ability to upload photographs and videos, multi-party messaging and geolocation of incidents.

Tim Griffiths, Operations and Product Development Director at r2c Online, said: “Our show stand aims to  be the ultimate advisory hub for transport and workshop managers looking for our latest technological innovations and advice on digital asset management software.

“We are looking forward to welcome both our existing customers and potential new clients so we can show them what we’ve been working on”.

The CV Show is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, from August 31 to September 2. r2c Online can be found in Hall 5 on Stand 5E.
